The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) is committed to the fight against doping in sport and. The IOA has assigned the Medical Commission to protect the integrity of the sport and to ensure monitoring of anti-doping guidelines.

WADA

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is the foundation initiated by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to promote, coordinate and monitor the fight against drugs in sports. WADA’s mission is to lead a collaborative worldwide movement for doping-free sport.

NADA

The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) was set up with a mandate for dope free sports in India. The primary objectives are to implement anti-doping rules as per WADA code, regulate dope control programme, to promote education and research and creating awareness about doping and its ill effects.

IOA Medical Commission

The IOA Medical Commission is an advisory body whose purpose is to provide advice to the IOA Executive and office on matters related to the health and wellbeing of athletes, and the medical services to be provided to the national team participating in the Olympic Games, Youth Olympic Games, Asian Games and Commonwealth Games.
