RETIREMENT PLAN
He intends to retire from archery after the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "For me, the postponement of the 2020 Olympic Games means I will get older by one year, so it will be a new challenge. With age, the muscle recovery is slow. You can tell age is creeping up on you when your mind wants to work hard but the body won't hold up and tires easily. When the next Games after Tokyo happens, I will be 40 and I don't want to hang around that long and deprive juniors a spot. This is my last chance to make a difference and make up for all the months I've been away from my son." (espn.in, 29 Apr 2020; olympicchannel.com, 24 Apr 2020; mykhel.com, 05 Apr 2020)
